Our Heritage
Crafting Timeless Elegance Since 1980
Founded in 1980, Burlington began as a family passion for antique jewellery and has since grown into a trusted Melbourne jeweller defined by elegance, discovery, and trust. Our move to Chadstone in 1990 helped bring antique jewellery into the mainstream, establishing a flagship presence that continues to endure. Today, with our store in Doncaster, Burlington curates timeless treasures that honour tradition while inspiring modern style.
For decades, Burlington has been privileged to be part of life’s most meaningful moments, building relationships that span generations. What began as a passion for antique jewellery has grown into a trusted name in fine jewellery, shaped by the people who return to us time and again.
Families who first visited us years ago now bring their children, continuing traditions of love, celebration, and connection. Through every engagement, anniversary, and milestone, our purpose remains unchanged: to create and curate jewellery that carries meaning, trust, and timeless beauty for every customer we serve.

Both are real diamonds. The key difference is their origin.
Natural diamonds form within the earth over billions of years, while lab-grown diamonds are created using technology that recreates the conditions in which diamonds naturally form.
Natural diamonds are often chosen for their rarity and history, while lab-grown diamonds can offer a larger stone for a particular budget. Our team can help you compare both and choose what feels right for you.
